Graduated in computer science with a specialisation in computer networks and economics with a Master of Business Administration diploma. Participant of postgraduate studies in the field of cyber security management organised by the Warsaw School of Economics. Associated with IT and cybersecurity areas for more than 10 years.

He gained experience in information security and IT system security at Getin Noble Bank S.A.. As Head of the ICT and Information Security Office at the Europa Insurance Group (GU Europa) and Security Coordinator at the Crisis Management Staff at GU Europa, he participated, among others, in the development and coordination of DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan) plans and participated in the development of BCP (Business Continuity Planning) plans. At GU Europa, he was responsible for the project to adapt the organisation to meet the requirements arising from the FSA’s Guidelines for Management of Information Technology Areas and Security of the ICT Environment (for Banks, analogously, Recommendation D).

Currently, as Cyber Security Manager at Fortum, he is responsible, among other things, for meeting the requirements of the National Cyber Security System Act in Poland and directs, coordinates and supports cyber security activities within one of Fortum’s divisions for business areas in e.g. Scandinavia or India. He has certified competences in the field of CCNA network administration, project management according to Prince 2 and auditing as a Lead Auditor of the ISMS according to ISO/IEC 27001:2013. He has participated in numerous trainings and workshops in the field of information security and IT as well as a speaker at conferences on IT security. Member of the ISACA organisation. Long-time member of the programme board of the Technology Risk Management conference.

Michał Kępowicz

Member of the Board of Philips Poland | Member of the Board of the POLMED Chamber

Michał Kępowicz,
Member of the Management Board of Philips Poland, Director of GPA/ B2G/ Market Access, and member of the Board of the POLMED Chamber. At Philips, he is responsible for building cooperation and projects with government administration, local authorities, universities and hospitals. Initiator and coordinator of projects on innovative oncology, green transformation of healthcare (within the SDGs), development of DWR technology for medical data collection and processing.

Previously employed as director of the Department of European Funds and acting as deputy chairman of the EFSI Sectoral Steering Committee in the Ministry of Health. Leader of teams that developed, among others, the Policy Paper for health care 2014-2020, the concept and implementation of medical simulation centres in medical universities, the assumptions of long-term care based on the DDOM model, the foundations of the coordinated care system (in cooperation with the World Bank). Prior to joining the Ministry, he was the chief expert on Phare and Transition Facility pre-accession funds at the Office of the Committee for European Integration (now part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

Negotiator of European programmes (including operational programmes OPIŚ, POKL, POWER MF EOG/Norway Grants, SPPW), expert in management of international projects and initiatives concerning widely understood innovation. Holder of management methodology certificates (Lean CI, Agile OM, CM, M_o_R, MoP, MPS, P3O, Prince2). Graduate/postgraduate studies at SGH, UW, KSAP, UŁ. Repeatedly awarded for achievements in the public sphere (MZ, CMKP) and in business (Philips CEO CEE Awards – 2016, 2018, 2021).

Expert with more than 15 years of experience in the areas of cyber security, operational risk and regulatory compliance of strictly regulated entities in the banking sector.

He started his career in a public administration unit, where, for several years, he successfully created and managed the IT area introducing many innovative improvements. He was also responsible for key areas of data security services at Allstate in the US, and oversaw the areas of information risk management, business continuity, crisis management and physical security at ING Bank. Currently, within UBS, he oversees the areas of technology risk and cybersecurity.

Jan Szajda, a graduate in computer science with a specialization in computer networks, supplemented his education by earning a Master of Business Administration degree and completing postgraduate studies in cyber security management at the Warsaw School of Economics. Professionally involved in IT and cyber security for over 10 years, he has gained practical knowledge in various sectors.

At Getin Noble Bank S.A., he explored knowledge in information security and information systems. While working for Europa Insurance Group, he served as Security Office Manager, where he was in charge of DRP plans and BCP strategies, as well as bringing them into compliance with FSA regulations.
A key role in Szajda’s career was as Cyber Security Manager at Fortum, where he was responsible for activities related to the National Cyber Security System Act and for coordinating cyber security initiatives in various regions, including Scandinavia and India.
Subsequently, at Identt, Jan Szajda assumed key responsibilities, shaping security policies and overseeing operations related to the protection of data and technical infrastructure. His work was instrumental in maintaining the highest standards in security and compliance, which had a direct impact on the company’s reputation and stability in the digital environment.

Wojciech Wodo

He is an assistant professor at the Department of Computer Science and Telecommunications at Wroclaw University of Technology, former head of R&D at PayEye sp. z .o.o., and board advisor for biometrics and cyber security at Identt sp. z .o.o.. He earned a PhD in the computer science discipline in computer security. Dr. Wodo specializes in cyber security, particularly in digital banking, electronic identity and biometrics. Mr. Wodo has worked with the Polish Bank Association and the Warsaw Banking Institute on industry reports on digital identity and banking security. He also graduated from the Top 500 Innovators program at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. Dr. Wodo is the co-author of a monograph entitled “Analysis of the digital identity ecosystem in Poland, its level of implementation and scenarios for the use of ID cards with an electronic layer,” published in 2023.
