Retired officer of the Polish Police, co-founder of the Cybercrime Unit of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wroclaw, where he prosecuted cybercriminals for many years.

He is a graduate of the Police Academy in Szczytno with a postgraduate degree in Internal Security in the field of Forensics in the Criminal Process. He also completed the Managerial Postgraduate Studies at the Wrocław University of Economics.

For many years, he was involved in responding to IT security incidents reported by public and private entities, analyzing: system logs provided by these entities, malware, mobile devices and computer units in connection with the activities of cyber criminals. Conducted a number of preventive activities regarding Internet threats in private and public entities. He was involved in information exchange with CERT departments located within public institutions and private entities. He has participated in a number of domestic and foreign training courses related to IT security.

I have been involved in public safety in the broadest sense of the term for more than a dozen years. In 2009, I took a job at the Lower Silesian Provincial Office in the Crisis Management Department, where I was in charge of crisis management in the province, analysis of meteorological forecasts and operational planning. This internship, gave me the opportunity to develop and advance from the position of clerk to that of chief specialist. In addition, this experience, was the impetus for my employment in 2007 in the Office of the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship (UMWD) where I still work today. At UMWD, initially in the position of chief specialist, I was in charge of operational planning, after a year of work I was promoted to the position of manager, then I accepted the duties of Director of the Security Department, which I still hold today. During my work at UMWD, I was also given other additional responsibilities, i.e. Classified Security Officer and Data Protection Inspector.My duties are related to the implementation of tasks in the field of public security are, for example, financial support of services, inspection of guards, organization of competitions
in the field of public safety, organization of conferences, trainings on the subject of public safety. In addition, I am the originator of a number of educational initiatives in this area. Activities related to the protection of classified information include the development of procedures for the safe operation and specific security requirements of the ICT system, general supervision of the protection of classified information, and conducting security clearances. Protection of personal data, i.e. work as a Data Protection Officer, is primarily the implementation of Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/W (General Data Protection Regulation) and the Act of May 10, 2018 on the Protection of Personal Data (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1000).
